Spinnakers and Asymmetrics



These are serious racing sails designed to deliver outstanding performance downwind. The Code numbers define the shape of the sail, you then need to choose the weight of material - lighter is faster but more fragile.

Symmetrical Spinnaker Codes

Code 1: 0.5-0.6 oz Light airs or running
Code 2: 0.6-0.9 oz All purpose
Code 3: 1.5-2.2 oz Heavy airs/reaching
(85% maximum area)

MPK Code Zero Laminate or Fibermax Spinnaker nylon options

All Racing spinnakers will be delivered with a launch bag complete with clips for attachment to the lee rail.
Touring gennekars and cruising chutes will be supplied with a draw string bag, launch bags can be supplied as an optional extra at an additional cost
