Hyde Sails, have spent the winter and spring working with the SVOD class to put into action a direct order platform for the class to order their sails with ease and clarity. Customers are able to select the colour combination of mainsail and jib. This information is collected by Warren boats, who submit the order. Hyde sails then manufacture all these One Design sails, if varying custom colours for this large fleet. The record attendence for the SVOD nationals stands at 198!
A locally developed sailboat called the Oz Goose known the world over as sailboat you can have for less than the price of an iPhone recently held its National Championships on the weekend of 3-4 November at the Taal Lake Yacht Club (TLYC) in Talisay, Batangas. 25 teams participated in the Oz Goose National Championships 2018 in just as many boats. People from all walks of life participated in the regatta, some from as far as Cebu.
